ALCS - GAME 1 Series tied 0-0
Detroit starts the ALCS off in Texas. Should be a good series. Did I say how glad I am the Yanks are out? Anyways last time C.J. Wilson took the bump he got hammered by an anemic offense in the Rays. Which ended up being the only win the Rays had in the series. Detroit hammered Rangers pitching in the regular season. Anytime Verlander is on the bump I'm picking the Tigers to win bottom line. I also like the Tigers momentum. Anytime you beat the Yanks in the Bronx to clinch a series in a game 5 you have to gain confidence. The Rangers have more rest since they clinched over Tampa on Tuesday however, I don't think it will matter. Verlander like I said I will pick Detroit whenever he is on the bump. Since this is a 7 game series you know it will be at least twice. Therefore, I think Detroit really is already up 2-0. Can Texas find a way to win the other games? Not sure.
